Denny’s story
Upon graduation from Peabody Vocational High School Denny went on to work in the family fuel oil business, Reardon & Sons Oil. Denny worked his way up through the ranks from Apprentice to Service Manager. When the company was sold, Denny decided to branch out on his own. He started an oil burner service company Heat-Tech Oil Heat Service. Denny eventually added two oil trucks to his fleet and renamed the company Denny’s Discount Oil & Burner Service.Denny’s desire to enhance his education in HVAC and plumbing led him to sell his company and go to work for the gas company, National Grid Home Services Division. During his employment at the gas company, Denny continued his education by going to night school. He earned his Massachusetts Master Plumbing License and New Hampshire Gas fitting License. With licenses and education under his belt, Denny decided to leave National Grid and use his new knowledge and skills in the private sector working for various companies.
While working for various companies, Denny’s work experience & knowledge led him to branch out on his own again so he opened his own company, Denny’s Gas Oil & Air Service.
Denny believes in Integrity & giving excellent service at a reasonable price. There are lots of service companies out there. Some talk the talk, but Denny walks the walk. What sets us apart is integrity, experience, and qualifications. Denny believes in annual routine maintenance. Customers who have us maintain their heating & air conditioning equipment will be provided after-hour service. It’s that simple.
Denny’s goals are to keep the company small. Unlike other companies that want to grow, Denny wants to limit the number of customers that they serve so they can give great service when needed. No job is too small and if a job is too big, we work with other trade partners in our network.
To limit the customer work-life balance we do it by selling service plans.
Service plans allow our customers a 15% discount on parts and labor, 24-hour emergency service as well as many other benefits.. A service plan with Denny’s gives you peace of mind knowing that we’ll be there for you when you need us, whether is 2 pm or 2 am.
